It’s crazy how times have changed even in the last 20 years or so from when i was a child. Christmas presents aren’t the same, toys seem to cost an arm and a leg and it’s all about the gadgets and consoles nowadays. I remember when i was younger that we were extremely lucky if Santa bought us a games console between me and my two siblings, never mind a console for one of us.
I was a 90’s kid and here are just some of my favourite Christmas presents that i can remember:
- Colouring books
- Tamogotchi
- The original Furby
- Monopoly
- Spice girls dressing gown and body spray
- Walkman
- Dolls/barbies
- Bubble bag
- Electronic Dear diary
- Smelly gel pens/ stamp pens
- Press on earrings
- Game boy (which was shared between 3 of us) with Pokemon blue and Sabrina the teenage which
- A blue metallic street scooter
