Although we are already a week into December i still thought it would be a good idea to share with you this Advent calendar i made for my boyfriend…. i know i know i’m no creative genius but that’s not why i made it. It was a fun Christmassy activity and you could make something like this too with less days of course, perfect for any age group.
I didn’t do an awful lot of research into it. I had a quick look on Pinterest and away i was. These brown bags and the countdown stickers i picked up on eBay for a bargain price. Looking back i wish i’d picked the ones without the handles but never mind. Then i just popped into The Works and had a look at their Christmas craft selection to decorate, you can be as creative as you’d like, there is no limit. Depending on what you use i would recommend getting a glue gun if you don’t already have one.
Once decorated the way you want, just simply fill with what ever goodies you want, i stuck a load of different chocolates in 50 percent of the bags, added some music and movie quiz cards, scratch cards, mini shower gels and other toiletries to mine. Finally to keep them sealed i got some red ribbon and tied the handles shut.
